Best 3 Natural Acne Treatments

If you are an Acne sufferer, you usually go get over-the-counter products to deal with acne. Whether you are a teenager or an adult is immaterial. You are mostly oblivious to the fact that these products are usually not productive, sometimes even counterproductive. These products sometimes even slowdown the healing of acne and cause the skin to get irritated and results in more acne flare-ups. What you do not realize is that most of these companies do not produce products to help you but to simply make money for themselves.

These products are composed of multiple ingredients any one of which could be counterproductive. Most of you have no idea how to spell the name of the ingredients let alone know its effect on the skin. These creams are mostly a lot pricier than the house hold items that can be used to cure or control acne. Here I will talk about some of those household items that will save you a lot of trouble and money.

If you have been to the supermarket to get acne creams you would have definitely heard the term exfoliating cream. What does it mean?? It just means to remove the top loose layer of skin that sometimes clogs up the pores and causes acne. If you have bought these products, let me tell you there is a very cheap alternative that you can find at home, Baking Soda. Yes, you read that right; Baking soda is a great exfoliating agent. Mix a small amount of baking soda and some water to form a paste. Apply it on your face for not more than 20 seconds. It is a pretty strong agent; hence see to it that you do not apply too much for too long. Applying it too much could just easily irritate your skin and cause acne. Apply a dilute paste to form a thin layer for 20 seconds and then rinse it off with cold water.

Apple Cider Vinegar is a very good item to treat acne with. Many use vinegar to treat acne but remember Apple Cider Vinegar works best. Regardless of which type of vinegar you use, it will help you in reducing the breakouts and help in clearing your skin up. Use diluted vinegar (8 parts water and one part Vinegar) for the whole face or use a higher concentrating directly on the acne. Rinse off after 5 minutes. Leaving it on for more time is recommended only if you have a very oily skin.

Very similar to Vinegar, you can use lime juice or lemon directly on the affected areas. While Vinegar is a strong agent, it dries up your skin pretty fast, so Lime juice if recommended for regular juice. Lemon juice can be concentrated by collecting the juice in a bowl and drying it in the sun. This will increase the concentrating but see to it that dust does not fall into the bowl.

Adult acne is also treatable with these methods. Adult acne treatment can be done by increasing the dosage and frequency of these methods.
