Tips to Reduce Underarm Sweating

It's tough to find straight forward cures for an excessive sweating problem. While medical professionals will say there are some surgeries that have a good success rate nothing is 100% sure. New methods of treating the condition such as Botox have recently been approved by the FDA, yet the long term results of this treatment isn't known.

So what are your alternatives? Just accept the problem? On the one hand yes, you do need to come to grips with the fact that you are suffering from a condition such as excessive underarm sweating, how ever this doesn't have to be the end all of everything for you.

Steps to Manage your Excessive Sweating through Wardrobe

There are some simple steps you can take in order to cope with underarm sweating each day. Of course some days are easier then others, but those days when you have to get up and head into the office I'm sure that last thing you want to do is get dressed. You're worried about how you'll look if you get sweat marks around your arm pits, and who might notice the odor?

If you tend to wear darker clothing to avoid showing sweat stains, or if you wear layers to hide the odor and to soak up the sweat stop. This isn't helping you one bit, in fact it's hurting you far more then it's helping you.

Our bodies sweat when we over heat, and if you suffer from excessive sweating your body already sweats more then usual. Wearing more clothing then required, plus darker clothing that will attract sun light for heat is only going to make the problem worse.

Focus on wearing looser fitting clothing, and fabrics that breath well. Cotton is an excellent example. Tight fitting clothing doesn't allow air circulation against your body which can also cause over heating if you're not careful.

Simple Thing to Avoid

Some spicy foods make things far worse for you if you suffer from underarm sweating. Not only do they cause you to sweat but they can greatly effect the odor of your perspiration as well. Try to avoid spicy foods when ever possible.

Remedies that may Work

You can try some of the prescribed antiperspirants available. Depending on how severe your problem is they may help. Although if one doesn't work I wouldn't try every brand on the market hoping for a solution.

There is an ebook available that explains a simple three step process to help cure under arm sweating. It's written by a former excessive sweater himself and his process has found over a 90% success rate.
