Writing Articles - Creating Good-Looking Article Body to Increase Readership

People are more likely to read articles that are easy on the eyes. Which one will you choose, big blocks of text throughout the article or one that has good structure in place? I bet you choose the latter. Here's how you can do that easily.

Creating good-looking article body can increase readership because it is more compelling. What makes an article compelling?

1. Concise
Go straight to the point. Articles for syndication should be concise. People will appreciate your effort. If you can end an article in 400 words instead of 600, do it.

2. Small chunks of information
Long sentences and paragraphs are boring. Limit each paragraph from 2-5 sentences. One paragraph should consist of only one thought, please.

3. Subheadings and lists (bullets/numbers)
Subheadings and lists provide places for the readers to rest their eyes. They can also locate things quickly. Like in this article, they can scan through the content quickly and grab the list immediately without having to read the entire article.

That is a plus for readers who already have ideas about what each point means.

4. Formatting
You can make a part of an article stand out by formatting it. Article directories don't allow you to use heading tags, so you can make the subheadings bold if you want.

5. Flow of the content
The information in the article must flow naturally. If you create a list, this can be made easier because each point is independent from others. You only need to keep on the topic of the article.

Finally, to help the readers relate to the article, you may want to insert the keywords, synonyms related to the topic. If people are searching for rose gardening and they find that keyword in the article, they know they are in the right place. Just don't it excessively.
